Technical data

General For environmental reasons, biological oil is added to diesel. The biological oil is very sensitive to contact with moisture. In biological oil that has been contaminated with water, bacteria form, which in turn form a sludge that clogs filters in the fuel pump and, in the worst case, in the vehicle's filter and engine diffuser. Diesel tanks are open to the atmosphere through the ventilation line. In other words, the entire diesel surface in the tank is in contact with the outside atmosphere. Each time a delivery takes place from the cistern, a corresponding amount of moist air is sucked into the cistern. The ventilation pipe also acts as a "chimney" with the risk of constant air circulation between the cistern and the outside atmosphere. The risk of condensation forming in the cistern is great. In order to reduce the relative humidity in the cistern and thereby minimize the risk of condensation, we have designed a dehumidification unit that consists of a supply and exhaust air valve and an absorbent filter that dries the air that circulates in the ventilation pipe. Dehumidification unit: ES4081L "Torkel" Dehumidification starts already at 15% relative humidity. The filter is active in the temperature range – 40°C to +60°C, so the risk of freezing is minimal. The pressure drop across the filter is low. When delivered to the cistern at 1250 l/min, the exhaust air through the filter gives a pressure drop of 20mbar, which is approx. 33% below the upper limit of the cistern standard. When delivered from the cistern at 250 l/min, the supply air causes a pressure drop across the filter of 2mbar. To ensure the quality of the output product from the cistern, we have used our proprietary filtration system CleanFlow CF1448S for flow rates up to 150l/min. Wennström's filter system removes fuel impurities down to 7 microns and stops all water from getting out to your vehicle.

The filter unit is mounted on the suction/pressure line to the dispenser and is very service-friendly when changing the filters. The CleanFlow CF1448S is structured as follows: 1. A cabinet with two filters installed in the main line. 2. There is a filter in the cabinet that effectively removes dirt. 3. There is also a water absorbent filter that effectively removes water. 4. A flow meter, alternatively a pressure sensor for easy reading of the filter status. 5. A ball valve that shuts off the flow when changing the filters. 6. Installation hardware.

Features ES4081L "Torkel" When delivered to the tank (from tank vehicles): the air from the tank's ullage is pushed out through channel (1) and the wiping filter (2) which is simultaneously dried by the air flowing through. mounted on a pressure-controlled supply and exhaust valve that opens automatically when the valve is open, the cistern standard's area requirements are also met in connection through channel (1) with the surrounding atmosphere. Air is sucked into the cistern through the filter housing. The moisture remaining in the filter evaporates or disappears during the next delivery upon delivery, the supply and exhaust air valve meets the area requirement.
